Free Net66 Software
General
Net66 accounts include a free software package contained on a
self-configuring CD-Rom with everything you need to access
popular Internet services.
Included Internet Applications
Windows 3.1
- No longer supported by Net66. We recommend that you upgrade
to Macintosh or Windows 95.
Windows 95
- Dial-up networking, a system utility which is included with Windows95 for connecting your computer to the Internet via a modem
- Internet Explorer, a browser which is included with Windows95 for viewing World Wide Web content
- Eudora Light, an easy-to-use e-mail program
- Free Agent, for reading and posting to news and
special-interest groups
- WS FTP, a file transfer program which allows you to send and
receive files via the Internet
- Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to create and send files via
the internet
- Pow Wow, a personal communicator program for the internet
Macintosh
- MacTCP 2.0.6, a control panel which enables your Mac to communicate in TCP/IP, the communications protocol of the Internet
- FreePPP 2.5 v.3, a control panel which connects your Mac
to the Internet via modem
- Internet Explorer, a browser for viewing World Wide Web content. Netscape can be downloaded, free of charge, using Internet Explorer
- Eudora Light, an easy-to-use e-mail program
- Stuff-It Expander expands compressed files for quick
downloads
- Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to create and send files via
the internet
